Looking forward to the 35th Conference of the International Society of Music Education (ISME) next week! It will be my first time attending ISME, and I'll be presenting two papers. The first will be presented in one of ISME's presidential sessions, and is entitled "Engaging Deeply With Cognitive Science In A Conservatory Of Music: Using Student-centered Learning To Enhance Learning Outcomes In Music Students." The second paper is entitled "Improving Students’ Practice And Performance Of Music By Incorporating Cognitive Science Into Conservatory Curricula," and discusses the ways in which cognitive science can benefit music students.
